Workforce

With a labor force of more than half-million people, the Southwest Florida region offers an educated, talented and growing labor pool – and there’s a new wave of workers moving into and growing out of the region all the time.

In 2007, Southwest Florida had more than 700,000 people in its labor force – a number that has continued to grow with the influx of new residents, the education and graduation rate of our students, and the quality of life that encourages our younger demographic to remain in the area.
