Airports
Southwest Florida's infrastructure is continually expanding to meet the needs of our growing population - and to make this a brighter place to do business.
Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW)
The new Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) is a prime example of Southwest Florida's growth. The 798,000 sq. ft. terminal served more than 7.6 million domestic and international passengers in 2008, and is currently ranked among the 50 busiest airports in the U.S.
This busy international airport serves all five counties and is expected to generate more than $650-million-a-year for the region's economy. It is surrounded by an additional 1,000 acres with runway access sites reserved for future growth.
Both Southwest Florida International Airport and Page Field (the general aviation airport) are designated as Foreign Trade Zones.

Charlotte County Airport is emerging as a hub for the county's commercial and light industrial future. It is close to railroad lines and offers easy access to US 41, 17 and I-75. The surrounding area is ideal for distribution/warehousing. There are also plans for a new terminal.

Immokalee Regional Airport
Immokalee Regional Airport in Collier County is a Free Trade Zone and could be a gateway for companies that have markets as far away as Central & South America. Collier County also has two dozen commerce parks near major roadways that provide quick access to airports in Ft. Myers, Miami and West Palm Beach.
